WHAT IS A .CDR FILE?
Files attached with the CDR extension are generally classified as vector graphics files. Vector graphics files saved in the CDR format are also called CorelDRAW image files. Users of Microsoft Windows-based systems can create, open and view the contents of a CDR file with CorelDraw software among other Corel applications supported by Microsoft Windows. Mac users can, on the other hand, install the Inkscape software, particularly the version developed for Mac platforms, to create and open these CDR files. Since vector graphics files in CDR format are not recognized by many applications, CorelDraw software, among other integrated programs with support for creating these CDR files, can be used to export these CDR files to other image file compression formats more widely. used as JPEG and so on.
